Assists consumers with utility shut offs and attempts to make payment arrangements for those with delinquent bills and will contact utility companies on behalf of consumers (Except for City of Hamilton utilities). Offers information on electric, natural gas, telephone and water. Consumer information news, media alerts and outreach.

HEAP: Heating And Energy Assistance Program
Utility assistance program available November 1st through March 31st. Administered through SELF (Support to Encourage Low-Income Families). Summer HEAP - runs June 1 - August 1, air conditioners available to those who have a medical need and a doctor's statement. PIP (Percentage of Income Participation) Program is a Cinergy program and is based on 15% of monthly income directed toward utility bill. If a person qualifies for HEAP, they may also qualify for the PIP Program.

Vine Intervention
No walk-ins except at Heart and Soul Mission in Middletown on Fridays from 9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. Agency will assist with rent assistance, utility assistance, telephone and water bills up to $50.00. Will also provide travel assistance to job interviews, employment sites and medical appointments.
