Delivers prescriptions for persons who have no way to pick up a prescription. Must be an adult and a City of Hamilton resident. Prescriptions need to be paid for in advance before a run can be made. Will pick up a prescription from a pharmacy outside of Hamilton but actual prescription delivery is for City of Hamilton residents only.

Patient Assistance Services
Provides medications for $7 per medication per month. These benefits apply to the following: 1) individuals of any age who have been laid off, unemployed or who know their employment will be ending in the next two months; 2) any person who can only afford to pay for basic health insurance (no prescription drug coverage); 3) individuals on Medicare who have no prescription drug insurance; 4) retirees (under age 65) who no longer have prescription drug coverage. The person must be a legal US resident, have an individual income of less than or equal to $16,000 or a family annual income of less than or equal to $25,000. There are over 2000 FDA approved drugs on their list. There is a one-time set up charge of $25. PAS patients will be advised via phone call within a few business days as to which of their medications can be supplied. Generally, 80-90% of medications will qualify. PAS patients receive a toll free number to call regarding any questions. There is not a limit to the number of different drugs a person can obtain. As long as a person continues to qualify, they can be on the program indefinitely. Also offers a program for diabetics.

St. Raphael Social Service Center
Offers $300 max financial assistance once a year. Must have an income before financial assistance can be given. Assistance for vision/eyeglasses, prescription, birth certificates, picture ID, rent, mortgage and utilities. Must have a shut off notice, eviction notice. St. Raphael Inn has 5 apartment units for temporary housing for St. Raphael clients. Emergency food given once a year. Supplemental food twice a month if children are in the home, once a month if no children. Layette Program gives a crib, mattress, baby care items, infant clothing, etc. with a referral from a hospital or care provider. Vouchers from social workers for hair care, clothing, bedding, etc. from Extravagant Thrift Store. Financial assistance for walk-ins: Mon and Tue 1 p.m. - 4 p.m., Thursday 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Closed Wednesday morning.

To improve the health and welfare of community residents by providing free, professional pharmaceutical care to needy clients who are screened for eligibility.
The homeless, those who have lost their jobs and the working poor who cannot afford prescription insurance or pharmacy co-pays are our clients. Some of our clients choose between buying medicine or food. Others who are helped may need temporary assistance as they try to secure coverage, qualify for other assistance programs or bridge a gap in Medicare coverage.
The Pharmacy assists residents of Hamilton, Butler, Warren and Clermont counties.
