The DHFC is a group of Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, and Hearing individuals focusing on education and support systems for deaf, deaf-blind and hard of hearing communities in the prevention of health-related problems.
Topics such as Cancer, Diabetes, Cholesterol, Mental Health Issues, Civil Rights, Dental Care, Communications Technology, Faith, plus other topics will be offered. We will have booths, Interpreters, SSP’s and Real-Time captioning.

Health Fair 2009

The Health Fair features over 45 health and social services agencies from Springfield, Dayton, Columbus and Cincinnati and is co-sponsored by Clark State's Health Clinic and Interfaith Campus Ministry. There will be door prizes, popcorn, balloons and a clown at the event. Some of the services provided include the following:
- Free vision and diabetes screenings
- Free neck and upper body massages
- Free body composition analysis
- Free hearing tests (call Avada Audiology at 323-6129 to schedule appointment)
- Tetanus Boosters ($5)
- Cholesterol screenings ($20, minimum 4-hour fast). No appointment required.
