Transportation to all Medical Appointments

Buckeye offers transportation to all medical appointments. Call Member Service line 24 hours in advance to set up a taxicab appointment. Buckeye will make all the arrangements for the ride. Please tell Member Services representative if someone will be going to the appointment with you. If a taxicab is needed for an urgent medical appointments, we will arrange for direct pick-up, without waiting 24 hours.
If you have an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room right away. If you are not sure whether you need to go to the emergency room, call your PCP or NurseWise, Buckeye's 24 hour health information line at 1-866-246-4358, option 7, (TTY) at 1-800-750-0750)
Please have the following information ready when you call:
1. Member MMIS ID Number
2. Member Date of Birth
3. A pickup Address and Telephone number
4. Doctor's name
5. Drop off Address and Telephone number
6. Whether it is a regularly scheduled appointment of an urgent care appointment.
